"We then come to the geometric and metaphysical «planimetries», depicting ideal spaces constructed from memory and utopia, plans of ideal spaces assembled into lines and segments that bear witness to an esoteric and archetypal path. Pilli's vitrified ceramic sculptures recall the centuries-old history of archaic puppets moved by strings in animation theaters in the most varied forms of entertainment, designed to animate the meaning of life. They represent demigods, humans and histrionic animals."
